Teachers

Lango Trivalley President and French teacher:

Hola/Bonjour/Nǐ hǎo, my name is Claude Isaac and I lead the Lango TriValley Program. I've been offering Lango Classes since 2013. I hold a BA in French literature and I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Teaching at USF. As a trilingual mother, I always wanted to expose my kids and the kids around me to the world of foreign languages at a young age. In this global century, learning a second language is no longer a luxury but a necessity and I strongly believe that every child CAN learn another language. I hope through our unique full immersion play-based classes to provide our kids more opportunities to learn a second language and to share with them a gift that last a lifetime.

What makes our Lango classes truly exceptional is our devoted and tireless teachers. Each of our teachers is native/bilingual speaker, experienced with teaching young age and dynamic. Beyond these qualities, our teachers bring unique cultural perspectives and professional backgrounds that enable them to create rich, engaging environment in the classroom.

Our Spanish Teacher:

Mrs. Gabriela is a native Spanish speaker. She was born and raised in Mexico City. She has many years of experience teaching Spanish to kids and young adults from beginner to advanced level. Mrs. Gabriela has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Family counseling. She loves to teach Spanish and to share the Latin culture. Being a native speaker gives her the opportunity to teach how to speak fluently, pronounce correctly and work on grammar too. Mrs. Gabriela has been teaching with Lango Trivalley for the past four years and she beleives that the best way to learn a langage is through music, games and engaging activities.

Our Mandarin Teacher:

Mrs. Chen was born and grew up in China, where she earned an M.A. in Chinese Language. She moved to the Bay area in 2004 from North Carolina and has served in different schools. She has had experience as a Mandarin Content Specialist and Mandarin teacher with SFUSD, Bullis Charter School, AUSD and CACC. She is awarded as the CACC Excellent Teacher of the year of 2016-2017. Mrs. Chen enjoys working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. She is well organized, manages to make her classes interesting and keeps her students engaged. As she discovers each student’s personality and learning styles, she provides support to help them develop their potential and love for Chinese language and culture. Sharon honors her Chinese heritage and culture by teaching it to the world.
